Common Scams

The notorious scams everyone sees.

1. La "Trust Trade"- WHY DO YOU DO THIS!? IT'S AN EASY SCAM. I MEAN REALLY!??? *cough* Mostly found at giveaways. Leave any giveaways that are trust trading. Don't go to any giveaways that are advertised as trust trading. Also called: True, Truth, Tru, TT.  
2. The "Flash Trading"- Made by kids on their adventurous streak. The thrill is what people like about, trying to cancel before they accept. Most people don't give the items back. Even your "buddies" won't give them back. It's really bad, and again, like trust trading, is stupid and an easy scam.
3. "Gift me you're spike, I'll give you back a founder's hat"- Not always a spike. Most of the time people don't have the item, and that's why they don't trade you. *crusty old man voice* USE THE TRADE SYSTEM KIDDIES!
4. "Trade me to win [insert item here]"- The oldest scam in the book! It's been around since I joined back in 2012. Ask them these questions: "Can you prove you have the item?" and then if they prove it and don't leave (1/2 do) ask them "Why can't we trade for the item directly?" <---- They most likely will leave. YOU WILL MOST LIKELY GET SUPPORT! Another form of the trust trade.  
5. "Trade me, I got scale (scammed cause AJHQ is mean and can't let us enforce their rules)"- This was started by some very greedy jammers that decided that "Hey I'm gonna get my rares by taking advantage of nice people." It's sad because people who actually got scammed are thought to be lazy and greedy.
